Charging, heat and the station network
Integrated drive, high voltage and battery swap solve different parts of an energy journey. Read them as complementary engineering choices, with separate infrastructure dependencies.

Research question
What must the vehicle and station both support?
Interpretation
XPENG’s G6 release describes an 800V SiC platform; NIO’s ET9 release describes a 900V-class system; Li MEGA couples an 800V vehicle with a Qilin 5C pack. These are manufacturer architectures, not interchangeable charging results. NIO swap replaces a compatible pack instead of charging it in the car. A station-process time excludes the rest of the trip and queue.
Canadian conditions
Check connector, protocol, station voltage/current and vehicle authorization before treating a Canadian charger as compatible. Then separate plugged-in departure heating from battery conditioning before DC charging. NRCan recommends plugged-in preheating; it does not certify these overseas models or promise their charging curves.
Missing evidence
Missing: matched Canadian connector tests, winter charge curves and a verified local swap network for these records.
